BOA & BIM Cafe is a charming cafe and bakery located in Sörnainen, Helsinki. Despite its charming appeal, the cafe faced challenges with visibility and attracting new customers due to its tucked-away location and limited online presence.

The Challenge
We met Boa & Bim cafe owners at the Helsinki Coffee Festival 2025. Shortly after that, we agreed on providing a workshop for them to elevate their social media game.
What we started with:
- The cafe’s location is difficult to find and lacks visibility.
- The BIO on their social media platforms does not effectively promote their business.
- Limited time available for creating content daily.
- Small staff roster, restricting content production capacity.
- Running out of fresh ideas for social media content.
- Difficulty in identifying what types of content perform best on Instagram and TikTok.
Meridian’s Approach
We conducted a comprehensive workshop covering an in-depth understanding of how algorithms work on Instagram and TikTok.
Workshop included:
- Developed tailored content ideas specific to Boa & Bim Cafe, including reference links.
- Scheduled a dedicated day for batch filming, creating raw materials that could be repurposed for months.
- Created and scheduled ready-to-post reels and TikTok videos immediately after the workshop.
- Ensured all videos prominently featured the cafe’s location to boost foot traffic.
- Saved time through batch filming, developing a clear content strategy and calendar.
- Delegated roles among the three staff members: one filmed raw footage, one handled editing, and another managed posting and captions.
- SEO-optimized social media profiles and content for better discoverability.
- Maintained consistent branded colors and props throughout all content to enhance instant brand recognition.
